Célia Triplet studied music from an early age. After starting out on the piano, she decided to devote herself to the violin, at the age of 8, at the Nice Conservatory. She went on to study the instrument at the CRR de Saint-Maur, then at the CRR de Paris, where she won a prize in B. Cervera’s class.

Biography

Born in 1987, Célia Triplet studied music from an early age. After starting out on the piano, she decided to devote herself to the violin, at the age of 8, at the CNR de Nice. She went on to study the instrument at the CRR de Saint-Maur, then at the CRR de Paris, where she won a prize in B. Cervera’s class.

She then entered the CNSM de Paris, where she relentlessly pursued the work she had accomplished over the years. There, she studied analysis, music history and composition with C. Abromont, F. Badol-Bertrand and F. Waksman respectively.

F. Waksman to deepen her knowledge, and obtained certificates in ethnomusicology, writing and analysis.

In 2009, Célia Triplet’s work was recognized with the Prix du Public du concours du Loiret for Gulliver’s Travels. Her major works also include La Loire, a symphonic poem commissioned for the 40th anniversary of the Orchestre Universitaire de Tours, which premiered in Blois Cathedral in May 2012.
