Biography

Grand Prix de la Ville Paris, First Prize at the Prince Pierre de Monaco International Composition Competition (symphonic music category), First Grand Prix de Rome, Marsden Foundation (New York) and Lili Boulanger Foundation awards, Alain Kremski leads a dual career as composer and pianist.

He composes for piano, orchestra, choir and chamber music, as well as for a collection of Asian instruments: Ritual Singing Bowls (Tibet), Sacred Buddhist Bowls (Japan), Large Taoist Ceremonial Bowls (China)

Gongs and large ritual plates from monasteries (Burma)… with which he also gives recitals, invited to major festivals in Europe, South America, Asia…

He has worked for theater, film and dance with Peter Brook, Carolyn Carlson and Brigitte Chataigner, and has created numerous concerts and readings with Jeanne Moreau, Michaël Lonsdale, Jean-Loup Philippe and Zéno Bianu…

Olivier Messiaen wrote of Alain Kremski’s works: “I love this meditation, so pure…”.
