Passages secrets

I wrote this piece for Tetsuya Cho, bassoon soloist with the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. I met Tetsuya during his bassoon master’s degree at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon, in Carlo Colombo’s class, where I also teach. The title refers in part to a whole game of hide-and-seek between the bassoon and the piano.
