D’un Vanneur de blé aux vents
45,00 €
D’un Vanneur de blé aux vents, for clarinet, violin & cello, is inspired by a poem and a painting from two different periods:
- a poem by Joachim Du Bellay (1522 – 1560), from which the title of the piece is borrowed
- a painting by Jean-François Millet (1814 – 1875), entitled Le Vanneur.
These two works, from different artistic fields, each express in their own way the heat of summer, the toil of the basket weaver under the sun, and the blessing of the wind as it refreshes him. Music joins painting and poetry to complete the story, making the scene audible.
