The summer solstice is that moment of tilt when the sun at its zenith begins its slow decline.
Beyond the undeniable astronomical phenomenon, it seems to me that this reality could be applied to all human achievements and, singularly, those that are part of an artistic and creative process.
This short piece for piano dedicated to Jean-Paul Sécher, wonderful editor and instigator of this project, does not escape this belief. Gorged with the sweet restorative sun of the beginning of summer, it unfolds again and again to finally launch into this frantic race that will lead it to its inevitable destiny.
