Vagues marines

Vagues marines echoes quatrain no. 43 of François Cheng’s Suite orphique. Over and above the philosophical aspect that gives the work its form and a certain atmosphere, I have focused on marine phenomena linked to waves. The different parts of the work depict more or less pronounced wave movements, from lapping to swell, roll or break. The voices sing the word to which the music refers, allowing the listener to better immerse himself in the phenomenon, and thus to navigate his sonic imagination…
