He has worked tirelessly to have most of these works published and won the confidence of Salabert Editions by being appointed Director of the “Bassoon Collection”. His “Actuellement le Basson” method has become a reference work for composers and bassoonists in contemporary playing modes. His taste for improvisation naturally led him to the world of jazz (Portal, Solal, Jenny Clark, Cinelu, Hampton, Fémi Kuti) and then to musical composition.Enriched by his contacts with all the composers who had previously worked and composed for him, he decided in the early 2000s to devote himself exclusively to composition. In 1998, he won 1st prize at the Concours International de Composition de St Jacques de Compostelle, and in 1999 received his first commission from the CNSMD de Paris, marking the start of his career as a composer.
